Notifications
What Enscale alerts you about, which alerts you can switch off, and the two you can't.
Enscale tells you when something needs your attention — a channel that stopped working, a template Meta rejected, a usage limit approaching.
The feed is under Notifications. What you receive is set in Settings → Notifications.
The five worth acting on immediately
If you read nothing else on this page, these are the ones that cost you money or customers when ignored:
| Notification | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Channel disconnected or in error | Customers messaging that channel are reaching nobody |
| Template paused by Meta | Every campaign and automation using it will fail |
| 100% of your plan limit | Automations pause immediately; the inbox has 24 hours before it goes read-only |
| Approaching your Shopify usage cap | AI resolutions stop when it's hit |
| Trial ending | You'll drop to Free limits |
What you'll be notified about
| Category | Covers | Can you mute it? |
|---|---|---|
| Billing | Trial expiry, usage limits, subscription changes, charges | No |
| Channel | Connection failures, expired logins, channel limit reached | No |
| Campaigns | Campaign progress, template review outcomes | Yes |
| Reviews | New reviews, import results | Yes |
| Automations | Failed runs, automations pausing | Yes |
| Inbox | AI handovers, conversations waiting | Yes |
| Account | Team changes, data requests, onboarding | Yes |
| System | Announcements and product updates | Yes |
Why two of them can't be switched off
Billing and Channel alerts carry consequences you can't opt out of, so muting them only removes your warning — not the problem.
Muting "your channel connection expires tomorrow" doesn't stop it expiring. It just means the first you hear about it is a customer complaining they never got a reply.
Same with "you're at 100% of your plan" — silencing it doesn't stop your automations pausing the moment you hit the cap. It just means you find out when your order notifications stop going out.
These two stay on for everyone. Everything else is yours to turn off.
How urgent is it?
| Level | Means |
|---|---|
| Info | Something happened. Nothing to do. |
| Success | Something you started finished. |
| Warning | Needs attention soon. |
| Critical | Something is broken, or about to be. |
Get Warning and Critical in front of wherever your team actually looks. A channel sitting in an error state affects every single customer trying to reach you on it, and the damage compounds quietly.
Preferences apply to everyone
Notification settings are workspace-wide, not per person. Turning off Review notifications turns them off for your whole team, not just you.
Settings are grouped by category rather than by individual event, which keeps the list stable — new kinds of alerts slot into a category you already know about, instead of appearing as a mystery switch.
