Facebook setup

Connect a Facebook Page to Enscale so Messenger conversations arrive in your inbox.

Connecting a Facebook Page brings Messenger conversations into your inbox and enables Click-to-Messenger ad tracking.

Before you start

You need a Facebook Page (not a personal profile) and admin access to it.

Connect

Start the connection

In Enscale, go to Integrations and choose Facebook.

Authorise with Meta

Sign in and grant the Page messaging permissions Enscale requests.

Pick the Page

Select the Page to connect. Only Pages you administer appear.

Test it

Message your Page from another Facebook account. It should appear in your inbox. Reply and confirm delivery.

What Facebook gives you

Broadcast campaigns

Broadcasts are WhatsApp-only. Meta doesn't permit templated list messaging on Messenger.

Click-to-Messenger ads

If you run Click-to-Messenger (CTM) ads, the Facebook Ad Click (CTM) trigger fires when someone messages your Page after tapping one. The ad details are available as {{trigger.ad.*}}, so you can branch on which ad brought them in.

Use it to greet ad traffic differently from organic messages — an ad-specific offer, or routing to a sales agent rather than support.

Ad tracking requires a paid plan. See Plans and limits.

The 24-hour window

Standard Messenger messaging is limited to 24 hours after the customer's last message. Outside it, Meta restricts what you can send.

Design flows accordingly: respond while the window is open, and don't build automations that assume you can message a Messenger contact days later.
